Finally back in Barcelona! One of my favorite city and it´s been a tradition to go here every year. I have the same thing about Copenhagen, London and Berlin, but Barcelona is just something else. The heath is definitely a plus and the city life combined with the beach and the cozy feel around the gothic area. All you need within walking distance. After SAS once again f##ked us over with a cancelled flight and we got to Barcelona 8 hours later than expected, we finally got to the hotel (Melia Barcelona Sky "The Level") We are 3 persons traveling together and the room we booked is just amazing, so much space and so luxurious. Having a really late summer vacation we thought we deserved this treat. Starting the day of by a mild workout and then breakfast, followed by a relaxing couple of hours by the pool. This first day we started of with lunch at Bar Lobo, a favorite of ours and they serve some lovely dishes. (I´ll do a city guide by the end of the trip with tips) Afterward we got some doughnuts at Chök, a small little shop stacked with sweets ;) It´s so hard to choose from all the goodies they got on the counter. Now all of us were to full to enjoy any more drinks or snacks, so we went walking towards Passeig de Gracia to check out some shops. A new Celiné store just opened a couple of months ago and the interior part designed by a Danish architect (same as in London) is just amazing. Santa Eulalia is also a must to visit, even tho we don´t have any money to spend, haha. They carry a lot of nice brands and the rooftop terrace is a nice place to grab a drink after some long walks. Ending the day by checking out the Mikkeller bar! This is my personal favorite and we had such a great time here drinking lots of great beers!
